Hi, I am Shelley. Most of you likely know me already. For those of you who don’t: I am happily married to my husband Dave and we live in Naperville with our son Jeramy, our dog Abby and our cat Phoebe. We attend Community Christian Church. I am madly in love with Jesus, and my desire is to share his word and live my life for his glory.
I enjoy nature (except for bees, wasps, yellowjackets, hornets, and anything like that), social networking, reading, chillin’ by the pool, walks, music, movies, friends and family time. You will find me crankin’ up the tunes and dancing in my car, singing to the music. While currently unemployed, I have over 8 1/2 years experience as an x-ray technologist. I am open to whatever job God places in my hand and trusting in his provision until that time. My personal goal is to be a better, healthier, more loving person.
In the meantime, I am returning to school at National-Louis University to snag a bachelor’s degree, and hope to decide which master’s program I like in time to start up in 2012. I am considering a career in counseling or social services.
My passion is for those of us who are hurting, who have a longing for something better. There is hope for the hopeless and rest for the restless. I find my hope in Jesus, and need his love every day. No other religion gives you the option to be “saved” by faith. I would love to introduce you to my Savior, my Liberator, my King.
Reading my blog is a good way to know me and how I think, but in the end, I always prefer getting together in person.
